Modern and innovative technologies are the basis of a rapidly changing world. Smart development of companies, in line with the latest trends and knowledge supported by reliable research, is one of the biggest challenges of constantly growing businesses with great aspirations. Our company, Classen-Pol, which has been successfully operating on the Polish market since the early 1990s, has decided to take up this challenge and, with the support of funds from the European Regional Development Fund, carry out a company development project.

The project entitled “Innovative technology for the production of adjustable door frames, characterised by high automation and increased scale of process and quality control”, developed by our specialists, has been approved, which resulted in a financial contribution from the Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020, in the amount of PLN 10,819,474.32. The value of the entire project was estimated at PLN 27,048,685.81, and was entirely allocated to industrial research and development work carried out by our company.

The desire to improve the production process of our door frames has become a long-term goal and the basis for the project implementation. The introduction of state-of-the-art technologies has allowed us to effectively automate the entire production process of adjustable door frames, which has directly translated into increased control of the entire process and product quality. The development of manufacturing innovations has also made it possible to create products that are characterized by significantly improved properties in terms of moisture resistance. Thus, we have created an extremely durable and versatile product that is successfully used on a large scale.

The implementation of the project has also provided an opportunity to solve the technical and technological limitations that had arisen in the manufacturing process of adjustable door frames used so far. The automation of most areas of production translated into increased efficiency of production activities, improvement of the control process as well as increased level of monitoring of each successive stage of product manufacturing. As a result, it has become possible to collect a comprehensive set of data on the limits of production efficiency growth. This, in turn, translates into efficient management decision-making.

The development and implementation of a number of innovative technical and technological solutions to the entire production process of adjustable door frames resulted in creating an innovation consisting in increased automation of the adjustable door frames manufacturing process, improved and continuous control at each stage of their production and, as a result, the creation of a product with improved parameters.

The created product meets the needs of target customers, such as DIY and specialty stores. The ability to offer ever-increasing volumes of very high-quality products, short lead times and provision of maintenance services for our products has become a priority, the execution of which has become possible due to the implementation of the results of the research and development work carried out.
