Natural materials

Earth tones bring to mind rock peaks, forested hills and sunny wheat fields. Hence, in order to maintain these soothing associations, it is worth combining them with natural materials such as stone, brick or wood – the latter is best in the version with a visible grain pattern.  In this case, we do not have to worry about exaggeration and limit ourselves to accessories only – earth tones will feel good in the company of a brick wall or oak floor. The timeless duo of black and white should do the job. The former will brighten up and warm the space, while the latter will give the interior a more expressive character. An interesting complement will also be accessories in shades of copper and dirty gold.

To such a combination, it is worth adding soft textiles with fleshy textures, such as pillows with woollen braids or a fluffy carpet and provide atmospheric lighting. It is really difficult to argue with the fact that the earth tones seem like a perfect background for a stone fireplace, but if we cannot afford such a solution, we can always enjoy the glow and warmth of candles.
